Grape seed mulch

I want to put down black grape seed mulch in my small garden patch after seeing it in a few gardens in the area. Everything I have read indicates it is a good choice, cheap, and readily available in the San Francisco area. However, I can't seem to locate it anywhere, so any assistance in finding it in the greater SF bay area or by mail order would be appreciated.

Also, any feedback on its use? Does it hold its pellet consistency over time, fade, or blow away. I have read that it does not stain decks etc., as other black mulch that is dyed can.And is it safe for pets. Though I don't have pets, local cats freely roam through all the neighborhood yards.

I've never heard of it... but apparently it isn't readily available, since you're having trouble finding it.

I wanted to plant grape just our backyard, but i dont know if its ok to plant here in the Philippines coz of our climate.
