Meaning you want to feed the deer?
Or not feed the deer?
Thuja Green Giant will probably feed the deer, but grows real real fast.
Also, lombardy poplar, extremely fast, probably won't feed the deer as much.

Not sure how fast you want these to grow, but I live in zone 5 - and over the last couple years I've cut down 2 mulberry trees on my property. Some of the rings were over 1/2 an inch! Plus the deer "may" like the berries too. I know I enjoyed them.
Hope this helps!
