Default Bees, Butterflies, Hummingbirds, and MORE!

Our garden is full of bees, butterflies, hummingbirds, and other critters. We never have pollination problems in the vegetable garden, and enjoy many species of insects, and the ruby throated hummingbird.
Our gardens is bordered with lavender, texas sage, and shasta daisies. There is Monarda austromontana, and several agastache varieties throughout the garden. These plants really attract all forms of pollinating insects, and when incorporated around your vegetable plants will increase your yields. This is especially effective on summer and winter squashes, melons, and cucumbers. Any plant with seperate male and female flowers benefits greatly from pollination by insects, and/or hummingbirds.
    Have a great day,

Not just pollination, they're good for pest control too.

    Default We use nothing else...

I agree plants are the best attractants for beneficial insects and bug consuming songbirds. We like to use nothing else than predators to control pests.

I have tried to have a humming bird feeder a couple of times, but never got any humming birds. Don't have any idea what I am doing wrong.

    Default bugs galore

My garden is loaded right now with bugs, huge bumble bees on the passion flowers, frittilary cats, butterflies, monarchs on the milkweed, and soldier beetles on the goldenrod. Oh, and I have figs ready to pick. The only time I see hummingbirds here in TN is late august till october as they migrate further south.
