Problems with Weed and Feed applicator

Hi all. Never used one before, so sorry if the answer is obvious. I bought a weed and feed product with the hose attachment top to mix with the water pressure, but the chemical is not being drawn from the bottle. I've re-read the instructions and no luck. Am I missing an obvious step? Thanks in advance for any replies, Reg.

If the hose is securely attached and water running, the only thing I can think of is that there may be an air leak somewhere in the bottle or seal. But if water is indeed spraying out, then it should be dispersing product - albeit slowly. Depending on the sprayer you purchased, water should be filling up into the bottle as it disperses product - so what you end up with once the product had been dispersed is a bottle of clean water.

Sounds like you've been careful to follow the instructions. If you still have your receipt, my advice is to return it for a new one. Hope this helps!
