    Default Some good winter fruits

    Zone 10.

I'm thinking of growing some winter veges. Anyone ever grow arugula? I want something not too demanding and relatively easy to grow

Zone ten, man I don't know. I'm looking at my second frost of the season tonight. I know of a blog named Growing Tomatoes in South Florida. He's down there in zone 10 and just starting tomatoes this week.

Tomatoes, peppers, melons have all been easy for me. If you use it fresh basil is easy to grow, small and expensive to buy at a grocery store.

Arugula is one of the easiest edible garden plants to grow. It germinates fast (within 3 days if conditions are right) and grows quickly. You can be harvesting baby arugula within a month.
