Thread: Growing broccoli...

    Default Growing broccoli...

    I have two broccoli plants in a tub that I do not think is big enough....the leaves are getting huge and I think they really should be in tubs of their own. If I split them now will I kill them? Or should I just leave them and see how they go?

    transplanting would be very very risky at this point.

    If you're concerned you can always kill one plant, to let the other thrive.

    Or fertilize more. Worst case scenario, you get smaller yields from both, but both should still yield.

    FWIW typical row spacing for brocolli is 1 foot.
