    Default Daffy won't bloom

I dug up some Daffys from a field that have been blooming for 50 years and divided the clumps and replanted them two years ago. So far only green foliage has come up. These were planted in different spots and I know there not being crowded out as I divided them up when I planted them. Never had this problem before. These get plenty of sun, 6 hrs., and shade in the morning. Any suggestions?

You could have a soil deficiency. Try a high phosphorous fertilizer.

sometimes it takes a few years for the bulbs to grow large enough to bloom. Were they little ? Are you letting the foilage die off naturally.

And the soil in that field was likely much looser and fertile than the fill dirt around your house.
