    Default Soil Analysis

    I just got the result back on my soil analysis. It recommends .7 lbs N/1000 square feet adn 1.6lbs K20/1000 square feet. However, the report did not recommend the grade of fertilizer. How do I find what grade (5-10-15 or 5-10-5 ?) to use?

    Also, I'm trying to find out the soil texture in Houston, Texas (sand? loamy sand? sandy loam?). Is there a place where I can find this?

    Default type of fertilizer

    I would recommend you phone your local county extension office. They can give you a lot of helpful information.
