    Question unknown growth

    I have something that comes up in my Texas yard every year around April-May. It looks like a potato and then grows around 5 inches gets daker and dries up after a few months? What is it?

    I wish I lived in Texas, then I might be able to help you out. Why not take a pic of it and post in somewhere online and see if anybody can give you some feedback on it.

    Arrow so wild!

    now I have another one. It looks just like the top of an Idaho potato. It is in a really sunny hot area by my backdoor where the grass won't grow. I'll post more once it starts growning more, but right now about 2 inches is above ground. Where do you live?

    Why don't you take it to your local County Extension Office for their opinion? They have always been very helpful to me.
