What's going on in your garden?

I've planted tomatos, lettuce, onions and peppers and beans. Maybe some others I've forgotten. It's still a week before my last frost date, but I'm living on the edge. LOL.

Today I was out there and notice some sprouting. I had mulch that I'd made from some old limbs and branches nearby so I surrounded the sprouts with wood chips. I've never used wood mulch in my garden before, usually I use hay or shredded paper, it was just a spur of the moment mulching. I googled this to see if it was a bad idea to use wood mulch in the garden and didn't see any reason that it would be.
