Can anyone help me identify this plant? it started growing in my back yard, but I didn't plant it and there is nothing else around that looks like it. It is kind of fern looking. Please let me know if you know what it is.
That is an immature Acacia tree. The foliage looks different from the mature foliage which makes it hard to identify. Unless you want a giant, messy tree with poor form that everyone is allergic to, pull that sucker!
