Container Fertilizing Tips

Well I have had my container vegetables planted for about a month now and was wondering if you guys could help me out with some fertilizing tips. I have Beef-master and Cherry Tomatoes, Banana peppers and Red Bell peppers, each in a separate 10 gallon planter. I'm just confused on how much fertilizer to apply and how frequently. Right now my plan is to apply Garden-tone granular fertilizer once a month, and than apply Mircle-Gro Organic liquid fertilizer once a week, can u guys let me know if this is too much or too little? Any feedback is seriously appreciated.
