Tuscan garden
I am currently working on coverting my backyard in to a Tuscan garden. It is small about 20 feel long and 8 feet deep. I would like to know what types of plants go into this type of garden. I have lavender, roses, geraniums, fig, persimmon, and orange trees. We have a stamped patio with a patio cover. I would like to enjoy my backyard this summer. Can any one help?

I've actually been to Tuscany, briefly, we mostly stayed in the city of Florence and didn't get out into the countryside, but I think I can help.
Columnar junipers like "Skyrocket" would work.
Rock pines, or Tanyosho Pines. Work work.
I saw ornamental Agave's planted all over Italy, but that is obviously not native.
Of course grapes.
Lavender is good.
Can you grow olives? Lemons?

Bougainvillea is one of my favorite vines. Once you get the vine growingit requires little maintenance except for a little pruining
