Hey all, I have a quick question for the forums community. I have been an avid gardener for the past 20 years, but I am getting tired of wearing gloves. I hate the way they feel, make my hands feel, smell, and they never seem to last me an entire summer. So my question to you all is are there anything out there that I can use that has the benefits of traditional gloves but doesn’t involve actually wearing them?

Any feedback would be much appreciated!

to just keep dirt out from under your nails you can rub your nails against a soap bar, shoving soap in there, that'll keep the dirt out.

For otherwise protecting your hands, gloves are where it is at.

Hi,

You can get spray on gardening gloves.

A silicon spray that will seal your hands from grime and possible infection and will make cleaning your hands after you have finished gardening easy for you is an alternative.

The gloves won't really protect against scratches, but will however help keep them clean.
