Hello All,

I bought my wife a nice arrangement of lilies and other flowers a few weeks ago. As part of the arrangement there were what look like two dead sticks with a slight corkscrew look to them. Well it turns out they were not dead at all, and started to put out roots in the vase, and pop leaves as well. I have no idea what type of plant these are and was hoping some one could provide some guidance as to what they might be.

Any help would be great. Thanks!

It looks to me like corkscrew willow; and the rooting in water that easily is fairly diagnostic for willow ;)

Thank you! After seeing some pictures of others I agree with you. Definitely looks like a corkscrew willow.
